Don't know if this is the right place to put this, but....I just completed the major portion of doing a transplant on the old (25yrs) Squire Strat (Korean version).
It's been hanging on the wall for years and I thought it was time to make it a bit more useful...the controls were getting all scratchy n such.....
So, after a fun filled afternoon of deconstruction and some minor surgery, I now have a rockin' little Strat to mess around with....(Pro Series/Active set up)
They didn't have batteries in mind when this thing was made so we had to make room....and the pickguard screw holes were a bit out of line, but no biggie, just some careful drilling and it's all good (and the old holes are all covered).
Some 'before and afters' if I can get the pics to post......

Now just have to re-set the bridge height and intonation and tick off the neighbors, hehe....
Good stuff, "Thanks, Ken!!"
